Hands-on, real-world experience led and focused on the identification of actionable opportunities that can lead to profitable market  share growth. 

Specialised in Commercial/ Digital Operations  he has  industry experience from P&G,  Reckitt, Boehringer Ingelheim and Sanofi managing clients such as Walmart, Tesco & Droga Raia. 

Mark set up the RGM team at Sanofi as Global Head of Commercial & Digital and has been working on Shopper, Pricing, Promotional and Execution strategy as well as large systems implementation (CRM/ TPM) since 2008.

What Exactly does RGM-EX Specialise in?

We specialize in all commercial areas related to FMCG and OTC, starting with shopper path to purchase, through to pricing and promotion strategy, sales team organisation, Key account negotiation and most importantly identifying insights and opportunities in these areas to help grow your business

Do you work only with large companies?

No, not at all. We love to work with all size companies, as everyone has different but similar challenges and we feel we can benefit both sides- as well as being priced for those smaller companies.

How long does it take to set up your digital platform?

We target 60 days for the out of bo solution, once we have access to your data and systems (we know cybersecurity and processes take some time so the 60 days starts post your assessment ;-) )

What KPI's can you track in your Digital Platform?

This is totally dependent on the sources of data that you have, but we can do a lot with a little and one of the key differences between us and the competition is that with an experienced sales team working the on the digital platform we are able to augment existing data sets to bring new insights. We largely work with Sell In Data (ERP), Sell Out Data (Nielsen, IRI, IQIVIA) and execution data (CRM or Image Recognition tools such as TRAX)

How quickly can we expect results?

This really depends on the specific project. With our Out of the Box digital platform we aim to have this up and running within 60 days meaning that we can start to identify opportunities from day 61. The key thing that makes us different is that we understand that results will come from great execution of an activity from an identified insight and so can  take time to see in share data.

How do you support innovation projects?

Innovation is absolutely critical to the success of modern day FMCG companies- more so than ever before. We support in two ways- one bringing a sharp/ critical evaluation of the current innovation strategy and secondly we support to build out the right launch plan to get your new product off the ground fast.

What does the process look like to set up your digital platform?

We follow a 5 step process that differs slightly depending on whether we are building custom system you are taking the out of the box solution.
1. Understand your needs and expectations as well as your tech environment and data sources
2. Data Ingestion & Cleansing
3. Develop your Power BI platform (time is dependent on customisation volume)
4. Launch your platform with  a customised roll out and training program as well
5. Provide on going support to maintain data accuracy and freshness as well as platform updates
